2013-woods01-360

AUGUSTA, GA (TheSpread) – All eyes will be on Tiger Woods when The Masters gets underway tomorrow. Here is a look at the prop odds available for the top-ranked golfer in the world this week.

View Current Golf Odds

Woods is a three-time winner of the Masters and a 14-time major champion. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Woods has been given 3/1 odds to win the Masters this week, making him the clear favorite. Woods has also been given 7/4 odds to be the top American and 8/11 odds to be the top former Masters champion this weekend.

There are plenty of other interesting prop bets to consider with Woods as well, including his odds to miss the cut, which is set at +1000. Woods has only missed the cut at Augusta one time in his career, and that was back in 1996. In his major history, Woods has only missed four cuts in his career, dating back to 1995. He did miss the cut at the 2011 PGA Championship, but he has only missed three cuts in any tournament since then.

Another lofty prop available is for Woods to not only win, but win by at least 5 strokes. The money line for that prop has been set at +1000. In Woods’ four Masters victories, he has only won by 5 or more one time, that being his 12-stroke win in 1997. Of his 14 major championships, five have come by at least 5 strokes, the last being the 2006 PGA Championship.

A pair of matchups have been made available for Woods as well. He has been given odds of -185 against Rory McIlroy (+145) and odds of -240 against Phil Mickelson (+180). Woods has been stellar at August, finishing eighth or better in 13 of his 18 appearances. Prior to last year’s 40th-place finish, Woods had finished sixth or better at the Masters in seven straight appearances. McIlroy is a two-time major champion, but he has never won the Masters or even finished in the top 10 in four appearances. Mickelson is a three-time Masters champion, last winning in 2010. He placed third last year and has placed in the top 10 in 14 of his 20 appearances at Augusta.
