372 Florida 6.0 (-105) Southpoint vs 371 Georgia

double-dime bet
Analysis:
Double Revenge time for the Gators and they have the team to win outright here. Very Strong D and a Georgia Squad that has lost a lot of punch this season offensively. This number opened at just 3.5 a~nd early bettors give us this good number on the neutral site. Let's grab the points..

GREG SHAKER | CFB SIDE SAT, 11/02/19 - 4:00 PM
392 Washington 3.5 (-110) Southpoint vs 391 Utah

double-dime bet
Analysis:
The Utes have only been challenged once on the road losing to USC as a coincidental -3.5 favorite but the fact is that is the o~nly good team they have played away from familiar surrounding. Washington off the bye week and folks this will be a hostile atmosphere at this venue on Saturday. Love the points here and also playing some Money Line as well..

WASHINGTON +3.5
UTAH @ WASHINGTON | 11/02 | 4:00 PM EDT
MON 10/28
Now that Washington's Pac-12 title hopes are shot amid a surprising three conference losses, the best the Huskies can do is spoil Utah's bid to come out of the South Division and reach the title game. Recent history suggests they will do just that. Washington swept two from the Utes last year, including the title game. They are the one Pac-12 club capable of matching Utah's physicality and, while the Utes are efficient on offense, they don't have the type of firepower that helped Oregon overcome a two-touchdown deficit against Washington. The underdog is a major value against this key number.

GEORGIA VS FLORIDA | 11/02 | 3:30 PM EDT
MON 10/28
The Gators allowed more than 500 yards of total offense in their loss to LSU, followed by allowing nearly 400 to South Carolina in a game in which several breaks fell their way. Georgia responded to its loss to the Gamecocks with a shutout of Kentucky. Although the Bulldogs have lacked imagination and explosive plays on offense, look for them to come out refocused after the bye and see increased production. Their edge on defense is what makes the difference Saturday in this rivalry contest.

Who wouldn’t be prone against a team that was outscored 126-52 in its three previous outings? Josh Jackson, the Terrapins' QB during their decent start, missed two of those lopsided defeats with an ankle injury and played sparingly last Saturday. Nebraska has lost its last two games, but it didn’t have QB Adrian Martinez. He gave an indication this week that he will be starting against Purdue. The Boilermakers sunk to new depths with a home loss to Illinois last week. Backup QB Jack Plummer has been horrendous and star WR Rondale Moore has been missing since week 5. Nebraska is the play.

This figures to be the most exciting game of the week in college football with back-and-forth scoring throughout. SMU (8-0) averages 43.0 points and 504.1 yards per game, while Memphis (7-1) averages 39.5 points and 470.6 yards per game. Memphis has gone Over the total in its last five games while SMU has gone Over in seven of its eight games. (The one Under was by a half-point.) Over is the play.

Boston College is dead last in the ACC in total defense, and Syracuse isn't much better at No. 11. Meanwhile, the Eagles have been racking up 6 yards per play and have a punishing rushing attack. If you have to pick a side, go with Boston College. But definitely take the over.

PITTSBURGH @ GEORGIA TECH | 11/02 | 4:00 PM EDT

The Yellow Jackets' single-game season high in total offense is 379 yards, and Pitt hasn't given up more than 328 since it beat UCF in a shootout on Sept. 21. This game might not even break 35. Pat Narduzzi vs. a Georgia Tech offense in transition can serve as both a football matchup and a horror movie.

Florida State's quarterback situation is so bad that running back Cam Akers might get more time under center. The news isn't much better for Miami, which hasn't been able to find a reliable signal-caller all season. Defense will rule the day, and neither offense will get cranked up enough to come anywhere close to the total.

TCU @ OKLAHOMA ST. | 11/02 | 3:30 PM EDT
The Horned Frogs sprung the slight upset of Texas last weekend, with quarterback Max Duggan leading the charge with 273 passing yards. The true freshman has completed 64.2 percent of his passes in October, which shows that things are starting to click. The Cowboys have a star in running back Chuba Hubbard, but the Horned Frogs have the best run defense in the conference (103.71 yards per game). Duggan will lead his team to the slight upset in a sloppy affair.

Both teams come in to this one rolling, but the Wildcats proved last week that they are not only capable of pulling a big upset, but can contend for the Big 12 title. The Jayhawks defense has given up a whopping 537 yards per game in Big 12 action this year, and have given up 483 or more for four straight games. The Wildcats build off of last week's upset of Oklahoma and pull away late for a cover.

This game is prime for an upset pick. UAB has a fantastic defense, and the Blazers play with balance. A strong running game and an efficient passing game are winning games for them this season. Tennessee's offense is in disarray. I like UAB easily in this one.

Preparing for the Green Wave offense is similar to getting ready to face the option. If you have trouble stopping the run, you'll struggle against Tulane. Tulsa can keep it close with its ability to throw the ball, and Tulane's secondary is suspect against the deep ball. However, it will be hard for the Golden Hurricane to keep up with Tulane's scoring pace.

It has been an up-and-down season for the Cavaliers. After a hot start, Virginia was crushed by Miami and has battled inconsistency since. The Ragin' Cajuns have the best running game in the Sun Belt, going three-deep in the backfield, and the passing game has been catching up since their loss to Appalachian State. Florida hasn't been getting a lot of respect from oddsmakers despite having a very good offensive line, a stable of running backs and a competent QB. That sounds exactly like Georgia. Kansas State has the same philosophy under coach Chris Klieman that it had under Bill Snyder: dominate at the point of attack. That is how the Wildcats pulled off the upset against Oklahoma. 339 BYU 3.5(-110) Westgate vs 340 Utah St. triple-dime bet

Analysis: BYU has played the much tougher schedule so far (No. 7 vs No. 57 in Sagarin’s ratings). Also BYU is coming off a much needed bye after already playing Utah, Tennessee, USC, Washington, at Toledo, at South Florida and Boise St. On the other side, Utah St lost by 24 to Air Force last week and it should’ve been by 40 points! The Aggies’ defense was on the field for more than 45 minutes! We think “big brother” will be feeling disrespected here. BYU in 33 meetings vs Utah St since 1980 has been the underdog only one other time...in 2013 when they won outright 31-14. Utah St’s QB Jordan Love (8-9 ratio this year) is clearly not the same player under new head coach Gary Andersen (32-6 ratio last year) and finally BYU is 21-6 ATS as a road dog since 2010.

Brad Powers | CFB Side - Saturday, Nov 2 2019 2:30PM
341 Virginia Tech 17.5(-110) Westgate vs 342 Notre Dame double-dime bet

Analysis: After last week’s blowout loss at Michigan, what does ND have to play for? No conference championship, no playoff bid. Remember, ND has struggled with nothing to play for in November going 6-15 ATS the last 5 years (-5.7 ppg) and 3-14 ATS taking out last year when they were unbeaten and were still shooting for a playoff bid. Their opponent VT comes in fresh off a bye, feeling confident after 3 straight wins. We like the Hokies here.

Analysis: We feel you’re starting to pay a premium this week with Utah in the market. They’ve won 4 straight by 30.8 ppg and covered 4 straight by 16.9 ppg. However, this is a much taller order here. Remember, Washington head coach Chris Petersen is 18-0 SU (11-7 ATS +4 ppg) off a regular season bye dating back to his Boise St days. The Utes have lost 12 of 13 all-time meetings vs Washington and are now laying more than a FG on the road. We like the Huskies

Fresno apparently treats its excursions to the Aloha State as business trips. No vacations for the Bulldogs, who have won five in a row straight-up on the island. Hawaii’s prolific passing attack will miss productive WR Melquise Stovall, who was dismissed this week. The Rainbows are catching their breath after a stretch of three road games in four weeks, and recent Hawaii teams have fared poorly upon returning home after comparable travels.

Few teams with an offense ranked as low as Cincinnati’s at No. 85 can comfortably allot two-dozen points to an underdog. The Bearcats’ O has benefited vastly from 19 turnovers caused by the defense and special teams, including 14 in the past three games. Such a pace is likely unsustainable. Cincy has failed to cover on five of its seven latest road trips.

Not to put too much stock in one weekend, but Tulsa’s game last Saturday generated 83 points and Tulane’s 79. The week before, Tulane allowed 47. Tulane’s option attack can be lethal on the ground, which matches up well with Tulsa’s poor run defense. The Green Wave has hurdled into Over-land in four of their past outings, and the series has produced five Overs in the last six episodes.

Utah is permitting 10.3 points per game, and the number is headed south after the last four foes managed 13, 7, 3 and zero in that order. While Washington’s offense represents an upgrade on most of the Utes’ victims, a major bump in scoring seems illogical, especially if recent history is a guide. In two meetings last year, the second for the Pac-12 title, Utah scrounged out a total of 10 points.

The cure for a slump -- and Army is in a major one -- is a rivalry matchup. This spread is substantial for what should be a game with an often-running clock thanks to a pair of running teams. Army yields little in the way of home-field advantage, with six covers in the last eight away gigs. In the past decade, Air Force has covered about one-third of games in which it was a double-figure favorite. Take the points.

OLD DOMINION @ FIU | 11/02 | 12:00 PM EDT
YESTERDAY 3:12 PM
Old Dominion claims to have 28 -- yes, 28 -- injured players. Some are expected to give it a go, but the lack of depth for a noon kickoff in the South Florida heat favors the home side. The visiting Monarchs own the worst yards-per-play average in the FBS. They seem unlikely to keep pace with the Golden Panthers, who are unbeaten straight-up at home with an average win margin of 18. Registering 30 points on offense should guarantee a cover. Take FIU.

18-10 IN LAST 28 CFB PICKS | +696
KANSAS ST. -5.5
KANSAS ST. @ KANSAS | 11/02 | 3:30 PM EDT
YESTERDAY 3:09 PM
Any choice other than laying the points with Kansas State would be foolhardy when one team has taken the last 10 meetings straight-up. Plus, Kansas has stumbled to 35 consecutive ranked opponents, though K-State barely qualifies at No. 25. The Wildcats have bumped off TCU and Oklahoma in their last two outings, so the only concern is a letdown. That is unlikely for this in-state rivalry. The 'Cats have covered in seven of the last 10 roadies, so this brief commute should be a breeze for them. Lay it.

Georgia Tech has had a week off since coming up with a huge 28-21 upset at Miami (-18). It was the second win of the season and first cover in the last 10 games dating back to last season. Last week Miami regrouped from the loss and won at Pittsburgh, 16-12. It stopped Pitt’s four-game win streak. I’m chalking up both those games against Miami as an aberration and I expect both to go back to their true form, which means the price under double-digits is cheap. Pittsburgh is the play.

At first glance, the points appear to be an awfully tempting take in this one. Upon further review, there's a better chance they end up as fool's gold. Barring a flat spot following their beatdown at Michigan, the Irish should have too much firepower for an improved Virginia Tech club. The Hokies come off a bye rising a three-game winning streak, but their vulnerable defense already has allowed 35 or more points four times this year. None of those opponents are as explosive as the Irish, who cover this provided they come out determined to erase last week from their minds.

This line makes no sense to me at all.
I've made plenty of money fading the Syracuse Orangemen this year as Dino Babers group has not lived up to its potential. They have also been dealing with a very young OL that can't protect their QB Tommy Devito. He's been all over the place as their QB this year. This is a reciepe for disaster against a BC team that has two 240 pound rushers coming in that are pissed off at getting run over by Clemson last week.
Syracuse thus far this year is 0-5 against Power Five teams. Their defensive numbers are a bit padded as they faced Liberty and Holy Cross early on but make no mistake about it. They have issues stopping the run. They gave up 241 yards on the ground to Florida State and lost, they gave up 145 yards on the ground to Pittsburgh and lost and they gave up 201 yards on the ground and won that game only because Tommy Devito was able to throw the ball against a terrible Western Michigan defense.
Boston College strenght is in their OL and running game. They averages 77 plays per game and most of it comes via the run. The Eagles have a RB that will most likely be playing on Sunday's in AJ Dillon and have also groomed David Bailey to be his replacement. Both are monster runners who will have no problem gashing this Syracuse defense for big yardage. BC had a huge game against what was the ACC number one defense against the RUN, North Carolina State, as AJ Dillon ran for 223 yards and three touchdowns & David Bailey had two long TD runs with 181 yards.
The Syracuse Orangement can't stop anyone from sacking their QB either. Syracuse offense ranks outside the top 100 in red zone points per attempt, penalty yards and are dead last in sacks.
This game is way closer to either a pick-em or Boston College as a slight favorite on the road in this matchup. If you can grab a FG right now with this game, don't hesitate to play it.
I'm betting the BC Eagles rush for well over 200 yards and win outright in what will be another game that Syracuse can't stop the run.

Today in the Pac-12 Conference this is an important game for Utah.

They don't control their own destiny to win their division, as they lost earlier to SoCal.

But, SoCal does have a tough game today with Oregon and 3 more contests after that.

Utah just needs to keep winning and hope for some help pertaining to SoCal's outcomes.

These two played one another twice last season, and Washington won both including the Pac-12 Conf.

Championship game. In that game the only touchdown scored was a pick 6, as Utah lost 10-3.

Utah comes into this game at 7-1 and a very well balanced team. They average 219 yds/gm on the ground

and 233 yds/gm thru the air. They have the #2 team in the country behind only Wisconsin for time of possession.

Utah has the #1 Rush Defense and the #4 Scoring Defense in the country. They have the #3 Total Defense

behind only Wisconsin and Ohio St. They have held every opponent but one to under 95 yds rushing.

Utah gives up a first down on 3rd down only 26% of the time - Ranks 3rd in the country and #1 in the Pac-12.

Washington's offense on 3rd down conversions are last in the Pac-12 and 106th in the country at 35%.

In their last 4 games they have outscored their opponents 146-23, and in the last 3 games

they've outscored opponents 108-10 giving up only 1 touchdown.

Utah is one of only 3 teams in the country that average over 450 total yards/game on offense -

And, gives up less than 250 yards/game on defense. The other 2 are Ohio St and Clemson.

Utah is 18-3 ATS after allowing 125 or less rushing yards in 3 straight games. They are 8-1 ATS past 3 years.

They are 16-4 ATS after allowing 275 or less total yards in 2 consecutive games.

Utah is also 17-5 ATS in road games after a game where they had no turnovers.

Washington is 2-7 ATS as a conference Fav/Dog of 4 or less. They are also only 6-16 ATS

at home versus good rushing teams that average 4.75 yards or more per carry.

Washington is 0-6 after playing Oregon, while Utah is 6-1 after playing California.

WE LOOK FOR UTAH TO WIN TODAY BY 14 ... 30-16
