our Saturday freebie is the Texas A&M Aggies to end their skid at 3 losses in a row as they head to Nashville to play the Commodores of Vanderbilt.
A&M looked like a lock for the Big Dance not that long ago as they rattled off 4 straight wins, included in that stretch were wins over both Auburn and Kentucky. Now with 3 double-digit losses in a row they will look to solve a Vandy team that has had their number.
Vanderbilt is on a 3 game series win streak, and they have won 7 of the 9 overall meetings that date back to 2013!
The problem today is the 'Dores have not exactly been world-beaters, as they are just 4-5 straight up their last 9 games, and against the spread in their ancient gym, they are 4-9 against the spread in their games at home with a line this year. They are also just 11-17 for the season with no chance to make it to any postseason tournament.
That being the case, going to hitch my wagon to the Aggies who still harbor thoughts of a deep SEC run that could make a difference as to where they are playing in the middle of March.

My Saturday comp play is to go against the recent series history between the OKC Thunder and the Golden State Warriors and play tonight's twilight meeting to land Over the total.
Series history shows Unders in each of the last 3 (including one earlier this month on the 6th), and overall Unders in 7 of the last 8 played - including the postseason.
I say throw those trends out the window in this one!
The Thunder came out of the break and picked up where they left off, as they landed Over the total at the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night. Oklahoma City has now played their last 4 games Over the posted price.
The Warriors have also been racking up the big numbers, as Golden State has played their last pair, and 4 of their last 5 overall Over the posted price. That includes their first game back from the All-Star Break when they landed Over the total at home on Thursday night versus the Clippers.
With both teams playing little defense of late, best to play the Over and root for some offense this Saturday in Oakland.
