According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Ryan is -125 to throw for more yards in Super Bowl 51 on Sunday than Brady, who has odds of -105. Brady threw for 3,554 yards in the regular season compared to Ryan's 4,944, but the Falcons quarterback also played in four more games than Brady, who was suspended for the first four games of the regular season due to the "Deflategate" scandal.

On a per game basis, Brady threw for 296.17 yards in his 12 games, while Ryan averaged 309.0 yards in 16 contests. After he threw for 38 touchdowns to just seven interceptions, Ryan is considered the favorite to win the league's MVP trophy. For what it's worth, Ryan also threw for 421 yards the last time he faced the Patriots, which came in Week 4 of the 2013 season. Brady threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns that night.
