Are the host Detroit Pistons going to cover the spread tonight when they play the New York Knicks at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Pistons are listed as a 6-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under has not yet been set.

New York comes in with a 17-14 overall record and 18-13 ATS after a 102-93 home win over the Celtics Thursday night. Detroit is 17-14 straight up and 18-11-2 ATS following a 110-93 loss at the Mavericks on Wednesday night. The Pistons won the first meeting this season 111-107 in New York on Oct. 21. Detroit is 3-2 straight up and 3-2 ATS in five meetings since the start of last season. The under is 3-2.

The Knicks were paced by Michael Beasley with 32 points and 12 rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench in the win over Boston. Enes Kanter tallied 14 points, 10 boards and two blocked shots. Jarrett Jack had 12 points, five rebounds and two assists. Courtney Lee added 12 points, four boards, three assists and two steals. New York overcame an 0-for-11 shooting night from Kristaps Porzingis, who returned to action after missing two games with a knee injury. The Knicks outscored the Celtics 34-25 in the fourth quarter.

In the loss at Dallas, Anthony Tolliver tallied 18 points along with two rebounds and two assists. Stanley Johnson contributed 16 points and two boards off the bench. Ish Smith added 15 points, four rebounds and four assists as a reserve.

New York is 2-5 ATS in its last seven meetings in Detroit. The under is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings in Detroit.

Bet on Knicks vs. Pistons

Detroit seemed to be back on track with three wins in a row before getting throttled at Dallas. But the Pistons are 9-5 at home this season despite less than desirable home attendances. Meanwhile, the Knicks are only 2-9 on the road and are playing the second end of a back-to-back after a big victory. I'm sensing a letdown here and a big win by the Pistons led by center Andre Drummond.
