Are the Toronto Raptors going to cover the spread on the road tonight when they play at the Charlotte Hornets? Tip-off is at 7PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Raptors are listed as a 2.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 211 points.

Toronto enters with a 20-8 overall record and 16-12 ATS after a 108-93 home victory over the Kings, its third straight win. Charlotte is 11-19 overall and 12-16-2 ATS following a 109-91 home victory over the Knicks. The Raptors won the first meeting this season by a count of 126-113 on their home court back on Nov. 29. Toronto is 3-2 straight up and 2-3 ATS in five meetings since the start of last season. The over is 3-2.

DeMar DeRozan paced the Raptors with 21 points and five rebounds in the victory over Sacramento. Kyle Lowry tallied 16 points, seven assists, five rebounds and two steals. Norman Powell added 14 points off the bench. Toronto outscored the Kings 47-30 in the second half.

Frank Kaminsky tied a season-high with 24 points off the bench to go with five rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots in the win against New York. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist contributed 15 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. Marvin Williams added 12 points and three rebounds. Charlotte established a 60-42 lead at halftime and continued to pull away in the third quarter.

Toronto is 3-9 ATS in its last 12 meetings in Charlotte. The over is 11-4 in the last 15 meetings in Charlotte.

Bet on Raptors vs. Hornets 

Charlotte is going to find the road a lot more difficult to navigate against a healthy Raptors team rather than a Knicks squad missing their biggest star in Kristaps Porzingis. Charlotte has struggled to put together any sort of consistency this season and it is unlikely to start against one of the Eastern Conference's best teams. Bet on Toronto to cover on the road.
