Washington Wizards Fantasy Spin
Bradley Beal hit 11-of-17 shots and two 3-pointers for 29 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 40 minutes of Tuesday's loss to the Hawks. John Wall hit just 6-of-18 shots for 15 points and six assists, but it was nice to see Beal play so well in Trevor Ariza's debut for the Wiz. Beal is on quite a tear right now, scoring at least 22 points in all nine of his December games, and he came into his one averaging 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 24 3-pointers on 48 percent shooting for the month.
Houston Rockets Fantasy Spin
James Harden surpassed the 40-point mark for the sixth time this season Monday, scoring 47 points (14-of-31 FG, 15-of-16 FT) with six rebound, five assists, five steals and four 3-pointers in 41 minutes vs. the Jazz. This the second time in the last three games that Harden has scored at least 40, as he dropped 50 points on the Lakers December 13. After averaging just 6.5 free throws per contest in the five games prior, The Beard has attempted 16 per night in his last three outings. And when Harden's getting to the line at that rate he's nearly impossible for opposing teams to slow down.
