Clippers in a funk

The Clippers have been having a pretty good season, but have dropped four of their last five after getting throttled by the Spurs, 125-87 on Thursday. They have failed to cover in five straight games. Los Angeles is 17-11 on the season, 8-8 on the road, 15-13 against the spread and 17-11 with the over.

Los Angeles has been pretty stout on offense this season, averaging 114.3 points per game while shooting 36.8 percent from the arc. Defensively, the Clippers are giving up 113.6 points per game. The team is currently without guard Lou Williams due to a hamstring injury. He has been one of the leading scorers on the team. Tobias Harris is leading the team this year with 20.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while Danilo Gallinari is adding 18.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest.

OKC in a funk as well

While both teams are struggling right now, the struggles are very different, OKC has had their three losses all come on the road while the Clippers have been losing on the road and at home. Los Angeles has also had all four of their losses come by double figures, with the lone win being at Phoenix in OT. The loss of Williams to injury has really impacted the team and I think the Clippers will continue to struggle tonight at Oklahoma City.
