According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Pacers are a 4.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 208 points.
Detroit comes in with a 15-13 overall record and 17-9-2 ATS after a 105-91 victory Thursday night at the Hawks. Indiana is 16-12 overall and 17-11 ATS following a 100-95 home loss to the Thunder. The season series is split 1-1 straight up and 1-1 ATS with each team winning and covering on their home floor. The Pacers are 5-1 straight up and 5-1 ATS in six meetings since the start of last season. The over-under is 3-3.
The Pistons were led by Tobias Harris with 19 points, four rebounds and two assists in the win at Atlanta. Avery Bradley tallied 18 points and three assists. Andre Drummond had a monster game with 12 points, 19 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocked shots. Detroit led 59-46 at halftime.
Victor Oladipo paced the Pacers with 19 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals in the loss to Oklahoma City. Bojan Bogdanovic had 15 points, four boards, three assists and two steals. Darren Collison chipped in with 14 points, three rebounds and three assists. Indiana trailed 51-46 at halftime and could not recover.
Detroit is 0-6 ATS in its last six meetings in Indiana. The Pacers are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a straight up loss.
The Pistons will be feeling a little better after ending their losing streak, but with travel to a place where they have struggled mightily off a back-to-back is a lot to ask. Indiana is healthy again after a brief spell of several players with minor injuries. With Oladipo again leading the charge, look for the hosts to cover here.
