While Los Angeles will be without its defensive leader, Patrick Beverley, due to a concussion, they will still have their big 2. Minnesota drops sixth straight

The Minnesota Timberwolves are coming off a 127-116 loss at home to the Jazz on Wednesday night for a sixth straight loss and sixth straight failed cover. Minnesota is 10-4 on the season, 3-8 at home, 9-14-1 against the spread and 15-9 with the over.

Prediction:

These two have yet to meet this season, but I have to go with the Clippers tonight. These two are going in very different directions. The Clippers have impressively won three straight on the road since being humbled by Milwaukee. I think Los Angeles knows where it needs to get to to contend for the championship this year. Minnesota is just a team full of talent that doesn’t care to play defense. They have given up at least 121 points in five straight games. That is going to be an issue again tonight against a deep Los Angeles bench that plays with a lot of pride. Pride has been missing in Minnesota for years.
