Will the host New Orleans Pelicans be able to hold off the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at 8PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Pelicans are listed as a 2.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 220 points.

Millwaukee enters at 15-10 overall and 10-11-4 ATS after a 117-100 home win over the Jazz, its third straight victory. New Orleans is 14-14 overall and 15-12-1 ATS following a 130-123 loss at the Rockets. The two meetings last season were split 1-1 straight up and 1-1 ATS. The over went 2-0.

The Bucks were paced by Giannis Antetokounmpo with 37 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and two rebounds in the victory against Utah. Khris Middleton tallied 20 points, five rebounds and five assists. Eric Bledsoe added 20 points, four rebounds and three steals. Milwaukee led by nine at halftime and outscored the Jazz 32-24 in the third quarter.

Jrue Holiday accounted for 37 points, five assists, four rebounds and four steals in the loss at Houston. E'Twaun Moore had 36 points, three assists and three rebounds. DeMarcus Cousins added 24 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists. New Orleans was outscored 34-20 in the fourth quarter.

Milwaukee is 4-9 ATS in the last 13 meetings. The over is 6-2 in the last eight meetings.

Bet on Bucks vs. Pelicans

This should be a very fun game. Even if Anthony Davis is out for New Orleans, you have Giannis going head-to-head with Boogie Cousins. What is there not to love? The Pelicans played out of their minds for three quarters at Houston before faltering in the fourth. If they put forth that kind of effort tonight for four quarters, they will certainly cover the spread here. Look for Holiday to be the X-factor and the Pelicans to get a home W.
