NBA Betting Trends
Detroit
The Pistons are 12-5 against the spread in their last 17 road games and 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games against Southeast opponents.
Charlotte
The Hornets are 5-1 against the spread in their last six conference games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
Prediction:
The Pistons have looked loss over the last week, as they haven’t been terribly competitive with anyone. Their two road losses in this streak were each by double digits. Their lack of strong guard play has left them too reliant on their big men and that isn’t helping them in a high-scoring NBA style of play. The Hornets aren’t strong inside, but they have shooters and scorers and that should be the difference at home. Charlotte should be able to cover at home.
NBA Prediction: Charlotte Hornets -5.5
