According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Kings are favored on the road, as they are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Bulls. The over/under total for the game is currently listed at 226.5 points. The public betting has 84 percent going on the Kings as the road favorite. This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our NBA Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.
Kings end win streak
The Sacramento Kings had their three-game win streak come to an end on Saturday in a 107-97 loss at Indiana. Sacramento is 13-12 on the season, 7-7 on the road, 15-10 against the spread and 16-9 with the over.
The Kings are playing very well on offense this year, averaging 114.5 points per game while shooting 47.9 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from the arc. Defensively, Sacramento is giving up 116 points per game while the Kings are allowing opponents to shoot 47.1 percent from the field. Buddy Hield is putting up 18.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game to lead the team. De’Aaron Fox is adding 17.8 points and 7.6 assists per contest.
Bulls coming off record loss
The Chicago Bulls are coming off a 133-77 loss at home to the Celtics on Saturday night and the team is dealing with a lot of turmoil. Fred Hoiberg was fired and interim coach Jim Boylen is rubbing the players the wrong way, as they cancelled a planned Sunday practice. The Bulls are now 6-21 on the season, 4-10 at home, 13-14 against the spread and 17-9-1 with the under.
The Bulls are a mess on both sides of the ball. Chicago is averaging just 102.3 points per game on offense while shooting only 44 percent from the field. Defensively, the Bulls are giving up 113 points per contest. The team has been dealing with some injuries as Denzel Valentine was already lost for the season and Kris Dunn is out for tonight with a knee injury. Bobby Portis is questionable to play as well with a knee injury. Zach LaVine has been leading Chicago this year with 24 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game while Jabari Parker is adding 16.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest.
NBA Betting Trends
Sacramento
The Kings are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven when playing on 1 day of rest and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 against Eastern Conference opponents.
Chicago
The Bulls are just 2-9 against the spread in their last 11 Monday games and 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games against Pacific Division opponents.
Prediction:
The Kings are still trying to prove themselves, so taking them as a road favorite is dangerous. However, the Bulls are just a mess. The team seems to be having a meltdown this weekend and I don’t think a players-only meeting is going to cure all of their problems. Sacramento has the scoring to be problematic for the Bulls and I expect the Kings to just keep a fast pace that Chicago won’t be able to handle.
NBA Prediction: Sacramento Kings -2.5
