Clippers vs. Suns Prediction
The Phoenix Suns have been dreadful to start the season, posting a 4-22 record overall and dropping nine of their last 10 games entering play on Monday night. That said, is there any value in the Suns as a home dog tonight versus the Clippers?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Clippers are 9.5-point favorites to beat the Suns. The total, meanwhile, sits at 221.5 points and as of this writing, 58% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Clippers to cover the point spread.
Los Angeles Clippers Fantasy Spin
Danilo Gallinari scored 12 points (3-of-10 FG, 5-of-6 FT) with ten rebounds, three assists, one blocked shot and one three-pointer in 33 minutes Saturday against the Heat. Gallinari posted his second double-double of the season Saturday night, but it came in a game in which he shot just 30% from the field and 1-of-3 from beyond the arc. Over his last five games he's averaging 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.0 three-pointers per game, shooting 42.0% from the field and 37.0% from three-point range. Gallo has been pretty consistent from a scoring standpoint this season, failing to reach double figures just once.
Phoenix Suns Fantasy Spin
Jamal Crawford (sore left knee) is questionable to face the Clippers on Monday. This comes from the official NBA injury report, but the Suns never mentioned it. Crawford has been playing 22.2 minutes over his last five games due to injuries in Phoenix, but T.J. Warren (ankle) will be back tonight. If Crawford can't go, it will be interesting to see if the Suns use De'Anthony Melton and Elie Okobo alongside each other, but Melton offers the better upside and should draw another start tonight.
NBA Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Clippers have covered the spread in five of their last seven conference games and have posted a 4-0 ATS record in their last four games played on Monday.
Phoenix
The Suns are 10-27-1 against the spread in their last 38 games playing on two days of rest.
Prediction
I’m trying to see the value in the Suns but they’ve been horrendous both on the hardwood and at the betting window. They’re 0-8 against the spread in their last eight games, are 0-5 against the number in their last five home games and are 0-7 ATS in their last seven games coming off a loss. The Suns have also failed to cover the spread in five straight games against the Clippers and the favorite is 35-17-1 ATS in this series in the last 53 meetings.
Monday NBA Prediction: Los Angeles Clippers -9.5
