Magic heating up

Orlando is riding a four-game win streak coming into tonight’s contest following a 93-87 win at Cleveland on Friday night. The Magic are now 11-11 on the season, 3-7 on the road, 9-12-1 against the spread and 11-10-1 with the under.

The Magic have been led by its defense this year, allowing just 102.6 points per game while holding teams to 44.8 percent shooting. Offensively, Orlando is putting up just 103 points per game while shooting only 43.3 percent from the field. Evan Fournier is putting up 19.7 points per game to lead the team while Nikola Vucevic is adding 17.1 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. Vucevic has been out with an ankle injury and won’t be available tonight.

Bucks add to win streak

Milwaukee extended its win streak to 14 games on Friday with a 119-91 win at home over the Clippers. The Bucks also have covered the spread in four straight games. Milwaukee is 20-3 on the season, 10-1 at home, 12-11 against the spread and 11-11-1 with the over/under total.

The Bucks are one of the best offensive teams in the league, averaging 121 points per game while shooting 48.3 percent from the field. Defensively, Milwaukee is giving up 107.4 points per game while holding opponents to just 41.3 percent shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo is leading the team with 30.8 points, 13.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. Khris Middleton is adding 17.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per contest.

NBA Betting Trends

Orlando

The Magic are 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games, but just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a win.

Milwaukee

The Bucks have covered in four straight games on two days rest and are 18-7-2 ATS in their last 27 Monday games.

Prediction:

Milwaukee thrashed Orlando back on Nov. 1, 123-91, in Orlando. The Magic like to try and limit possessions to win games, but that is hard to do against Milwaukee. The Bucks can score quickly and force the Magic into rushing themselves and play out of their routine. With Vucevic out, Orlando can’t really do much to man the paint either, so the Bucks should have their way with the Magic on both sides of the floor.

NBA Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks -12
