Jazz get past Grizzlies
Utah secured a 103-94 victory Friday night at Memphis to improve to 12-7 overall and 4-6 on the road. The Jazz outscored the Grizzlies 63-39 in the second half of the win. Bojan Bogdanovic led Utah with 33 points on 12-of-20 shooting including 4-of-8 from 3-point range plus 5-of-6 at the free throw line. He also recorded eight rebounds and two assists. Raptors win sixth straight
Toronto kept rolling Friday night as it picked up a 90-83 win at Orlando to move to 14-4 overall and 6-4 on the road. Norman Powell led the Raptors with 33 points on 12-of-18 shooting including 5-of-8 from 3-point distance plus 4-of-4 at the charity stripe. He also notched two steals. Fred VanVleet accounted for 22 points, seven steals, five boards and four dimes. Pascal Siakam added 10 points, 13 caroms and five assists. NBA Betting Trends
The Jazz are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games versus the Western Conference. Utah is 1-5 ATS in its last six Sunday games.
The Raptors are 24-4 ATS in their last 28 games played on one day of rest. Toronto is 11-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings.
I can't for the life of me figure out why this spread is so tight. The Jazz have been shaky on the road and the Raptors have yet to lose at home, while Toronto has also dominated the series in recent times. Kyle Lowry might return for the Raptors today, which I guess in the short term could hurt the chemistry formed in his absence but I find that's far-fetched as he's a veteran who will only make Toronto better. I'm definitely taking Toronto -2 in this one.
