Bulls vs. Nuggets Pick
Are the host Denver Nuggets going to easily handle the Chicago Bulls tonight at 9PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Nuggets are listed as an 11-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 208 points.
The Bulls come in with a 3-16 overall record and 8-11 ATS after a 104-99 home loss to the Suns, itheir sixth loss in a row. Denver is 11-9 and 8-12 ATS following a 106-77 loss at the Jazz. The Nuggets won both meetings straight up and ATS last season. The over went 2-0.
Chicago was led by Justin Holiday with 25 points, five assists, three blocks, three rebounds and two steals in the loss to Phoenix. Kris Dunn contributed 24 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals. Lauri Markkanen added 12 points, six rebounds and four assists. The Bulls were held to 40.4 percent shooting in the defeat.
Gary Harris paced Denver with 18 points and three rebounds in the loss at Utah. Kenneth Faried had 11 points and eight boards. Jamal Murray added 10 points and two assists. The Nuggets were outscored 58-28 in the second half.
Chicago is 0-5 ATS in its last five meetings in Denver. The over is 6-1 in the last seven meetings.
The Nuggets don't quite look right in the absence of Paul Millsap (wrist), but this should provide them a good chance at home to get back on the right feet. Chicago is prone to getting blown out in a tough road atmosphere and Denver certainly qualifies. Look for a big night from Nikola Jokic as the do-it-all center helps the Nuggets to a lopsided victory.
