Los Angeles outscored host New Orleans 35-21 in the fourth quarter Wednesday night to secure a 114-110 victory. The Lakers (16-2, 8-1 road) were paced by Anthony Davis as he torched his former team for 41 points on 15-of-30 shooting including 1-of-4 from 3-point range plus 10-of-12 at the free throw line. NBA Betting Trends

Washington

The Wizards are 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 road games. Washington is 16-6 ATS  in its last 22 games versus the Western Conference.

Los Angeles

The Lakers are 5-0 ATS in their last five games versus the Southeast Division. Los Angeles is 1-4 ATS in its last five games overall.

Prediction:

Washington has been playing well lately and has a top-notch offense, but needs to tighten up on the defensive side. With Los Angeles returning home after a holiday and playing down to its competition the last week or two, I'm going to say the Wizards keep this one within the number. Look for another big night out of Beal to help keep it close.
