Are the Philadelphia 76ers going to record the win tonight when they host the Washington Wizards at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the 76ers are a 5.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total sits at 213 points.

Washington enters with an 11-9 record and 10-10 ATS after a 92-89 victory Tuesday night at Minnesota. Philadelphia is 11-8 overall and 14-5 ATS following a 113-91 home loss to Cleveland. The Wizards won the first meeting this season by a count of 120-115 on their home floor. The 76ers are 2-2 straight up and 3-1 ATS in four meetings since the start of last season. The over has gone 3-1.

In the win at the Timberwolves, Otto Porter Jr. hit a late 3-pointer to help clinch the win and scored a team-best 22 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Joel Embiid recorded 30 points and 11 rebounds to lead the way in the loss to the Cavs. Timothe Luwawe-Cabbarot contributed 12 points and five rebounds off the bench. JJ Redick had 11 points, three assists and two rebounds. TJ McConnell added 11 points, six rebounds and three assists off the bench. Philadelphia trailed 53-45 at halftime and were outscored in every quarter.

The Wizards are a different team without John Wall in the lineup, even if they did squeak out an impressive win Tuesday night at Minnesota. On a back-to-back with considerable travel, it is hard to see Washington putting up a lot of fight tonight against a Sixers team that will likely have Ben Simmons (ankle) in the lineup after a scare late in Monday's game. Look for Embiid to dominate and Simmons fill up the score sheet in a decisive victory.
