Lakers fall at home to Magic

Los Angeles (12-9) fell by a 108-104 score Sunday as its three-game winning streak was snapped. The Lakers trailed 86-71 through three quarters before mounting a fourth-quarter rally that ultimately fell short. LeBron James paced LA with 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting with seven rebounds and four assists. Kyle Kuzma tallied 21 points, five assists and four boards. Brandon Ingram contributed 17 points, six boards and two steals. Lance Stephenson had 13 points, three rebounds and two dimes off the bench. JaVale McGee added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 12 blocked shots.

Nuggets win third in a row

Denver improved to 13-7 on the season Saturday night with a 105-98 victory at the Thunder. The Nuggets led 63-42 at halftime before holding off an OKC comeback attempt after the break. Jamal Murray paced Denver with 22 points on 9-of-23 shooting plus eight rebounds and eight assists. Nikola Jokic contributed 16 points, six rebounds and five assists. Trey Lyles had 16 points and four boards off the bench. Juan Hernangomez tallied 15 points, eight rebounds and two steals. Mason Plumlee added 11 points, seven rebounds, four blocked shots and two assists off the bench.

NBA Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The Lakers are 6-0 ATS in their last six Tuesday games. The under is 4-0 in the last four Los Angeles games overall.

Denver

The under is 4-0 in the last four Nuggets games overall. Denver is 4-0 ATS in the last four home meetings versus the Lakers.

Prediction:

Los Angeles has been playing solid basketball, but step into a tough venue tonight as the Nuggets are 8-3 straight up at home. The spread is tight enough to where Denver can cover with a solid performance, which I think it will give against an LA team that is 5-4 away from home. The Lakers aren't a finished product yet and they will have a few rough nights along the way.
