Clippers stay hot, down Grizzlies

Los Angeles has been one of the more surprising teams in the NBA this season and downed visiting Memphis by a count of 112-107 in overtime Friday night to move its record to 12-6. The Clippers were outscored 28-23 in the fourth quarter as OT was forced, but then outscored the Grizzlies 14-9 in the extra session. Montrezl Harrell paced LA with 22 points off the bench on 7-of-14 shooting with 11 rebounds and two blocked shots. Danilo Gallinari tallied 20 points, nine rebounds and two assists. Lou Williams contributed 15 points, six assists and two boards. Avery Bradley had 13 points, three assists and two rebounds. Tobias Harris added 12 points, seven caroms and four dimes.

Blazers unable to keep up with Warriors

Portland was upended by a 125-97 score at Golden State Friday night for its second straight blowout loss. The Trail Blazers (12-7) led 27-24 after one quarter of play, but were then outscored 35-17 in the second quarter. Damian Lillard led Portland with 23 points on 9-of-24 shooting with eight assists, two rebounds and two steals. Jusuf Nurkic accounted for 22 points and eight rebounds. C.J. McCollum had 19 points and five assists, while Al-Farouq Aminu tallied 12 points and seven boards.
