The Milwaukee Bucks are double-digit favorites at home tonight versus the San Antonio Spurs. Can Milwaukee take advantage of playing a squad that has struggled on the road much of the season?

Aldridge pours in 33 in victory

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 33 points Friday night as the visiting Spurs (9-9) toppled the Pacers by a count of 111-100. He shot 14-of-25 from the floor and 5-of-6 from the charity stripe while accumulating 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots. DeMar DeRozan tallied 16 points, six assists and three boards. Patty Mills had 15 points, two assists and two steals off the bench. Bryn Forbes recorded 13 points, three rebounds and two dimes. Rudy Gay added 11 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. San Antonio led 54-45 at halftime and kept the pace after the break.

Bucks fall on late jumper

Milwaukee had its three-game win streak snapped Friday night as a Jamal Crawford jumper with 0.8 seconds left sent it to a 116-114 home loss to the Suns. Giannis Antetokounmpo had big night for the Bucks (13-5) with 35 points on 14-of-16 shooting with 10 rebounds and three assists. Malcolm Brogdon accounted for 22 points, four assists and three rebounds. Khris Middleton had 15 points, six caroms and four assists. Eric Bledsoe added 12 points, seven assists and three rebounds. Milwaukee shot only 10-of-44 from 3-point range including an 0-for-12 night from Brook Lopez.

NBA Betting Trends

San Antonio

The Spurs are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings. The over is 13-5 in the last 18 meetings in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee

The Bucks are 6-0 ATS in their last six games following an ATS loss. The over is 6-1 in the last seven Milwaukee games on Saturdays.

Prediction:

Both teams played last night, but the Bucks will have more of a chip on their shoulder after falling to a Suns squad they should have beaten relatively easily. San Antonio improved to 3-6 on the road last night, but it's a team that often struggles in back-to-backs and has the tendency to rest players in such situations or at least monitor their minutes. I think this could easily become a rout and I struggle to see the Spurs having any answer for Antetokounmpo.
