Can the visiting Detroit Pistons hang with the host Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night at 8PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Thunder are an 8-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 204 points.

Detroit comes in with an 11-6 record and 11-5-1 ATS after a 116-88 home loss to the Cavaliers. Oklahoma City is 8-9 straight up and 8-9 ATS following a 108-91 home victory over the Warriors. The two meetings were split 1-1 straight up and 1-1 ATS. The under went 2-0.

The Pistons were paced by Tobias Harris with 11 points, five rebounds and three assists in the loss to Cleveland. Reggie Jackson accounted for 10 points and six assists. Stanley Johnson added 10 points and three rebounds. Detroit trailed 73-46 at halftime.

Russell Westbrook tallied 34 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and four steal in the win over Golden State. Carmelo Anthony had 22 points and five rebounds. Paul George added 20 points, 11 rebounds and four steals. The Thunder led 65-48 at halftime.

Detroit is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings. The under is 6-0 in the last six meetings.

Bet on Orioles vs. Athletics

After such an emotional victory over the Warriors, there could be a letdown for OKC here. The Pistons have shown to be a formidable opponent this season, aside from the last game against the Cavs which came on the second end of a back-to-back with travel. Jackson also has his own motivations every time he plays Oklahoma City due to the tumultuous way he was traded to Detroit after a rift with Thunder teammates.
