According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Timberwolves are a 4-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 207 points.

Miami comes in with an 8-9 record and 6-9-2 ATS after a 104-98 home victory over the Celtics, which ended Boston's 16-game win streak. Minnesota is 11-7 overall and 8-9-1 ATS following a 124-118 home win over the Magic. The Timberwolves won the first meeting this season by a 125-122 score in overtime at Miami on Oct. 30. The Heat have gone 2-1 straight up and 2-0-1 ATS in three meetings since the start of last season.

In the victory over Boston, Goran Dragic led the way with 27 points along with five rebounds and four assists. Dion Waiters contributed 26 points and six assists. Tyler Johnson added 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Miami led 79-63 through three quarters.

Jimmy Butler led the way for the T-Wolves in the victory against Orlando as he had 26 points. Taj Gibson accounted for 24 points and nine rebounds. Jeff Teague recorded 22 points and 11 assists. Andrew Wiggins put in 20 points with six boards. Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 points and 13 rebounds. Minnesota led 106-80 through three quarters.

Bet on Heat vs. Timberwolves

The Heat are riding in high after ending Boston's win streak, but sometimes after a huge win like that the britches get a little too big. Traveling all the way up to Minnesota isn't ideal and Miami meets a Timberwolves team full of playmakers. When a starting five has Towns as its fifth-leading scorer in a game in which it puts up 124 points, that says something. Bet on the home team to cover the spread here.
