Are the Charlotte Hornets going to turn away the visiting Washington Wizards tonight at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Hornets are listed as a 2.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 209 points.

Washington enters with a 10-7 overall record and 9-8 ATS after a 99-88 victory at the Bucks. Charlotte is 7-9 and 7-8-1 ATS following a 118-102 home win over the Timberwolves. The Wizards won three of four meetings straight up and ATS last season. The over-under went 2-2.

In the win at Milwaukee, Bradley Beal led the way with 23 points and five assists. Kelly Oubre Jr. contributed 18 points and four rebounds off the bench. John Wall added 15 points and six assists. The Wizards outscored the hosts 52-42 in the second half.

Dwight Howard turned in a monster game with 25 points and 20 rebounds in the triumph over Minnesota. Frank Kaminsky contributed 24 points and three rebounds off the bench. Nicolas Batum added 17 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. The Hornets outscored the T-Wolves 34-22 in the fourth quarter to put it away.

Washington is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. The over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.

Bet on Wizards vs. Hornets

Wall went into the win at Milwaukee with a sore leg after sitting out the previous game, but he gutted it out and should be in better shape for this one. Howard almost certainly won't have the huge game he did against Minnesota and if it doesn't happen, Washington will be able to control the action on both ends. The Wizards have dominated recent history in the series and they should manage to cover as small underdogs.
