Are the Orlando Magic going to cover the spread at home as a favorite versus the Utah Jazz tonight at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Magic are a 5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under was not released overnight.

Utah enters with a 6-10 record and is 7-9 ATS after a 118-107 loss at the Nets Friday night. Orlando is 8-7 overall and 8-6-1 ATS following a 99-94 loss at the Trail Blazers, its third defeat in a row. The Jazz went 2-0 straight up and 1-1 ATS in two meetings last season. The over-under went 1-1.

In the loss at Brooklyn, Rafael Neto put in 22 points off the bench to lead the way. Rodney Hood scored 17. Donovan Mitchell contributed 15 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. Derrick Favors had 15 points and seven boards, while Joe Ingles also scored 15. The Jazz were outscored 39-25 in the first quarter.

Evan Fournier paced the Magic with 22 points in the loss at Portland. Elfrid Payton had 14 points and five assists. Nikola Vucevic added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Orlando led 33-24 after one quarter, but were outscored 27-14 in the second.

Bet on Jazz vs. Magic

The Jazz have really struggled since Rudy Gobert went down with a knee injury that is expected to sideline him another four weeks at least. After being raced out of the building by the Nets, a turnaround the next night against the rested Magic is less than ideal. The spread here seems a little on the low side. Take the hosts.
