Are the Golden State Warriors going to cover the spread for the second time in as many weeks tonight versus the host Philadelphia 76ers? Tip-off is at 7:30PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Golden State is an 8.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 231 points.

The Warriors come in with an 11-4 record and 7-8 ATS after a 92-88 loss at the Celtics. The 76ers are 8-6 overall and 10-4 ATS following a 115-109 win at the Lakers. Golden State secured a 135-114 home win over the Sixers on Nov. 11. The Warriors are 3-0 straight up and 1-2 ATS in three meetings since the start of last season. The under has gone 2-1.

In the loss at Boston, Kevin Durant led the way with 24 points along with three assists and two blocked shots. Klay Thompson had 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Draymond Green added 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists. The Warriors were outscored 50-41 in the second half.

Joel Embiid had the game of his life in the victory over LA with 46 points, 15 rebounds, seven blocked shots and seven assists. Ben Simmons contributed 18 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds and five steals. Rovert Covington added 12 points and six rebounds. The 76ers outscored the hosts 32-25 in the fourth quarter.

Golden State is 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall and 1-9 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Philadelphia. 

Bet on Warriors vs. 76ers

The Warriors stumbled in the second half Thursday night as Boston won its 14th game in a row. Seeing Golden State drop two in a row seems outlandish, but Philly is coming into this one with extreme confidence after a solid West Coast trip capped by a special night from Embiid. Expect this game to stay competitive throughout and the hosts to stay within the number.
