Warriors vs. Rockets Prediction
The Houston Rockets have been playing better basketball of late just in time for a clash with the powerful Golden State Warriors, who knocked them out in the Western Conference Finals last season. Can Houston get a win back over Golden State tonight?

Warriors hold off Hawks
Golden State played without point guard Stephen Curry (groin) again Tuesday night and secured a 110-103 home victory over Atlanta. The Warriors (12-3) trailed 52-49 at halftime before turning it up a notch after the break. Kevin Durant paced Golden State with 29 points on 9-of-23 shooting plus six rebounds, three assists and two steals. Klay Thompson accounted for 24 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Quinn Cook had 18 points, six assists and four rebounds. Jonas Jerebko tallied 14 points, 13 rebounds and two assists in a spot start as he was filling in for the suspended Draymond Green.
Rockets pick up road win at Nuggets
Houston secured a 109-99 victory at Denver Tuesday night for its second straight triumph. The Rockets (6-7) trailed by one at halftime before outscoring the Nuggets by a count of 32-21 in the third quarter. Clint Capela led the way with 24 points on 11-of-15 shooting, nine rebounds and two assists. James Harden had 22 points, 11 assists, five rebounds and three steals. Chris Paul contributed 21 points, five boards, four assists and two steals. James Ennis III tallied 16 points, four rebounds and two blocked shots. P.J. Tucker registered 12 points, six caroms and two dimes. Eric Gordon added 11 points and two assists off the bench.
NBA Betting Trends
Golden State
The over is 4-0 in the last four Warriors road games. Golden State is 1-7 ATS in its last eight Thursday games.
Houston
The Rockets are 5-11 ATS in the last 16 home games versus the Warriors. The under is 5-0 in the last five meetings.
Prediction:
This should be a fun game with Houston playing well again. The difference here is Curry being out. Golden State has struggled to put it all together without its court leader and is even experiencing inner turmoil with the very public rift between Durant and Green. I'm thinking the Rockets will take advantage tonight at home of the Warriors not all being on the same page.
