Russell pours in 52

Golden State lost by a score of 125-119 in overtime Friday night at Minnesota to drop to 2-7 overall and 1-3 on the road. The Warriors were outscored 30-24 in the fourth quarter and 15-9 in the fourth quarter of the loss. D'Angelo Russell returned from injury to score a career-high 52 points on 19-of-37 shooting including 7-of-17 from 3-point range plus 7-of-8 at the free throw line. He also contributed nine rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocked shots. Alec Burks tallied 18 points, nine boards and two blocks off the bench. Eric Paschall added 12 points over 34 minutes of action.

Thunder fall at Spurs

Oklahoma City lost by a score of 121-112 Thursday night at San Antonio to drop to 3-5 overall and 0-3 on the road. The Thunder were outscored 65-55 in the second half of the defeat. Danilo Gallinari paced OKC with 27 points on 7-of-10 shooting including 5-of-6 from 3-point distance plus 8-of-9 at the charity stripe. He also registered five rebounds and two steals. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander contributed 21 points and three assists. Chris Paul had 19 points, five dimes and two rebounds. Steven Adams added 10 points, five rebounds and three assists.

NBA Betting Trends

Golden State

The Warriors are 3-1-1 in their last five games versus the Northwest Division. Golden State is 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall.

Oklahoma City

The Thunder are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games. Oklahoma City is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games versus the Western Conference.

Even though the Warriors played an overtime game last night, this spread still seems a little steep. The Thunder haven't exactly looked like a juggernaut this season and the one thing you can say about this group of young Golden State players is that it goes hard and does its best to try and make every game competitive. I think the Warriors keep this one within the number tonight.
