Miami secured a 124-108 victory Wednesday night at Phoenix to improve to 6-2 overall and 3-2 on the road. The Heat outscored the Suns 31-22 in the fourth quarter to put it away. Goran Dragic had 25 points, six boards and four assists off the bench. Bam Adebayo contributed 15 points, 10 boards, six assists and five steals. Los Angeles earned a 118-112 victory Tuesday night at Chicago Tuesday night to improve to 6-1 overall and 3-1 on the road. The Lakers outscored the Bulls 70-47 after the break to overcome a halftime deficit. LeBron James paced LA with 30 points on 10-of-19 shooting including 2-of-6 from 3-point range plus 8-of-9 at the charity stripe. He also recorded 11 assists, 10 rebounds and two steals. NBA Betting Trends
The Heat are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. Miami is 1-8 ATS in its last nine Friday games.
The Lakers are 4-0 ATS in their last five Friday games. Los Angeles is 5-0 ATS in its last five home games.
Miami is on a back-to-back and while it played well last night and has a fairly deep roster, I don't like its chances to keep up with the Lakers for four quarters. Look for LA to take the game over in the second half as LeBron always loves facing his former team.
