Are the host Detroit Pistons going to continue their strong start to the season tonight at 7PM ET versus the Indiana Pacers?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Pistons are a 7-point favorite to win on the spread line. The over-under is set at 208 points.

Indiana enters with a 5-6 record after a 117-112 home loss to the Pelicans Tuesday night. Detroit is 7-3 following a 108-99 home victory over the Kings. The Pacers won all four meetings straight up and ATS last season. The over-under went 2-2.

The Pacers were led by Myles Turner as he tallied 21 points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots in the loss to New Orleans. Victor Oladipo scored 15 points to go with four boards and three assists. Lance Stephenson contributed 14 points and eight rebounds off the bench. Indiana was outscored 56-37 in the second half.

Avery Bradley paced the Pistons in the win over the Kings with 24 points and three assists. Andre Drummond tallied 18 points, 19 rebounds, four assists and three steals. Tobias Harris added 20 points, five assists and four rebounds. Detroit led by three at halftime and then padded it by outscoring Sacramento 33-25 in the third quarter.

Indiana is 7-3 ATS in its last 10 meetings in Detroit and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings overall. 

Bet on Pacers vs. Pistons

Detroit is on a tear to start the season, winning five of its last six games with only a loss at the Lakers to end a West Coast trip being a blip on the radar. The Pistons have ample rest and remain at home, whereas the Pacers played last night and had to make the short trip north. We like Detroit to end its recent struggles against Indiana and win convincingly tonight.
