Are the Miami Heat going to secure a win and cover the spread tonight at the Phoenix Suns? Game time is 9PM ET.

Oddsmakers at sports book Bovada.lv have made the Heat a 6-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 215 points.

Miami comes in with a 4-6 record following a 97-80 loss at the Warriors. Phoenix is now 4-4 following a 98-92 home loss to the Nets. The two meetings last season were split 1-1 straight up and ATS. The under went 2-0.

In the loss at Golden State, James Johnson led the way off the bench with 21 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Goran Dragic had 19 points and four assists. Kelly Olynyk added 10 points off the bench. The Heat trailed 50-37 at halfitme. 

TJ Warren paced the Suns in the loss to Brooklyn with 20 points and nine rebounds. Devin Booker had 18 points, while Mike James contributed 16 points. Phoenix trailed 28-19 after one quarter of play and could not climb out of the hole.

Miami is 8-1 ATS in its last nine meetings in Phoenix. The under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings.

Bet on Heat vs. Suns

The Heat go as center Hassan Whiteside goes. They struggled much of the time with him out of the lineup and when he played poorly at the Warriors, it led to a blowout loss. But when he is engaged such as Sunday afternoon at the Clippers, it can lead to big victories. Expect a much better Whiteside tonight, while Dragic and company do their part in a decisive Heat victory.
