Warren leads Pacers past Bull
Indiana secured a 108-95 home victory Sunday over Chicago to improve to 3-3 overall and 2-1 at home. The Pacers led 55-42 at halftime en route to the win. T.J. Warren led the way for Indiana with 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting including 1-of-4 from 3-point distance plus 5-of-6 at the free throw line. He also notched five rebounds and three assists. Malcolm Brogdon contributed 22 points, seven dimes and three boards. T.J. Leaf accounted for 13 points and 15 caroms off the bench. Jeremy Lamb added 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots.
Hornets bottle up Warriors
Charlotte won a second straight game Saturday night with a 93-87 victory at Golden State to improve to 3-3 overall plus 2-2 on the road. The Hornets outscored the Warriors 43-32 in the second half to pick up the win. Dwayne Bacon led Charlotte with 25 points on 10-of-21 shooting plus 5-of-5 at the free throw line. He also registered six rebounds, two assists and two steals. Terry Rozier tallied 20 points, seven assists and five boards. P.J. Washington had 11 points, five caroms, two assists and two steals. Marvin Williams had 11 points and three rebounds off the bench. Cody Zeller added 10 points and eight boards.
NBA Betting Trends
The Pacers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games. The favorite is 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings.
The Hornets are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games versus the Eastern Conference. Charlotte is 5-2 ATS in its last seven home games.
The Pacers are far from 100 percent and while the Hornets are returning from a West Coast trip, they had a couple rest days and are playing with some confidence. I think they take advantage of Indiana being beat up and get another win to move over .500 here. At the very least, the hosts have a couple points of cushion plus a hook if they lose a close one.
