Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns, 11/4/19 Prediction & Odds

The Philadelphia 76ers won their first game of two without suspended star center Joel Embiid. Can Philadelphia notch another win without its center tonight when it plays at the Phoenix Suns?

Philly stays unbeaten

Furkan Korkmaz drained a 3-pointer with 0.4 on the clock Saturday night to send Philadelphia to a 129-128 victory at Portland. The Sixers (5-0, 3-0 on road) outscored the Trail Blazers 37-26 in the fourth quarter to pick up the win. Al Horford paced the 76ers with 25 points on 12-of-24 shooting including 1-of-1 from 3-point distance. He also recorded seven assists, five rebounds and two blocked shots. Tobias Harris tallied 23 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Ben Simmons accounted for 18 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and two steals. Josh Richardson had 17 points, six dimes and four boards. Mike Scott accounted for 12 points in 16 minutes off the bench. Korkmaz added 11 points, three caroms, two assists and two blocked shots as a reserve.

Suns topple Grizzles

Phoenix picked up a 114-105 victory Saturday night at Memphis to improve to 4-2 overall and 2-1 on the road. The Suns trailed by two at halftime before outscoring the Grizzlies 37-22 in the third quarter to take control. Devin Booker paced Phoenix with 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting including 3-of-3 from 3-point range plus 2-of-2 at the charity stripe. He also dished out two assists. Arron Baynes accounted for 20 points, four assists and two rebounds. Kelly Oubre Jr. had 15 points, four boards and three assists. Frank Kaminsky registered 14 points and five caroms off the bench. Ricky Rubio tallied 11 points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals. Mikal Bridges added 10 points, six boards, four steals and two assists as a reserve.

NBA Betting Trends

Philadelphia

The Sixers are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. Philadelphia is 25-10 ATS in its last 35 games versus the Pacific Division.

Phoenix

The Suns are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Phoenix is 8-3 ATS in its last 11 Monday games.

Prediction:

The Sixers are in the same boat as the Timberwolves after their respective centers duked it out last week and subsequently got suspended for two games each. Philadelphia banded together and squeaked out a win at Portland, but now it gets to face a Phoenix team playing with a ton of confidence right now and getting the job done on the defensive end. I see this as a letdown spot for the 76ers and am going with the Suns as the small dogs.
