Bucks take down Raptors

Milwaukee picked up a 115-105 home win Saturday night over Toronto in its first meeting since falling in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Bucks 4-1, 2-1 at home) led 36-17 after one quarter of play and kept control throughout. Giannis Antetokounmpo paced the Bucks with 36 points on 14-of-20 shooting including 1-of-2 from 3-point range plus 7-of-10 at the free throw line. He also accumulated 15 rebounds, eight assists and four blocked shots. Eric Bledsoe had 14 points, nine boards and five assists. Khris Middleton registered 11 points, seven dimes and four rebounds. Brook Lopez added 11 points, three caroms and two assists.

T-Wolves cruise past Wizards

Minnesota secured a 131-109 victory at Washington Saturday night to improve to 4-1 overall and 3-1 on the road. The Timberwolves manufactured the win without suspended star center Karl-Anthony Towns, who will also miss tonight's contest. Minnesota led 70-56 at halftime on its way to the win. Andrew Wiggins paced the T-Wolves with 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting including 4-of-9 from 3-point range plus 3-of-4 at the free throw line. He also racked up six assists and five rebounds. Robert Covington tallied 20 points, four boards and two blocked shots. Jarrett Culver had 20 points and five caroms off the bench. Gorgui Dieng contributed 18 points, eight rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals. Jeff Teague accounted for 15 points, 13 dimes, four boards and three steals. Jake Layman added 14 points and three rebounds as a reserve.

NBA Betting Trends

Milwaukee

The Bucks are 12-3-2 ATS in their last 17 Monday games. The favorite is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings.

Minnesota

The Timberwolves are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Minnesota is 7-2 ATS in its last nine Monday games.

Prediction:

The T-Wolves looked really good without Towns the other night, but a lot of that had to do with Washington being dreadful. That is not going to be the same experience tonight against a very good Bucks squad. The absence of Towns will certainly be magnified and Antetokounmpo is a matchup nightmare as we all know, so I see Milwaukee having its way here.
