Leonard out for Raptors
Kawhi Leonard will miss tonight's game at Milwaukee due to rest. Leonard scored a team-best 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting to go with nine rebounds, five assists, three steals and a blocked shot in a 116-107 home win over Dallas. The Raptors played well in the first and fourth quarters as they outscored the Mavs 63-44 during that time. Kyle Lowry accounted for 20 points, 12 assists and four rebounds. Jonas Valunciunas tallied 17 points and eight boards, while Danny Green had 15 points and eight rebounds. Serge Ibaka had 11 points, eight boards and two blocks off the bench. Pascal Siakim had 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists. C.J. Miles added 10 points and two boards.
Antetokounmpo in concussion protocol
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss tonight's game against the Raptors as he is being evaluated for a brain injury. He only played 21 minutes in a 113-91 home win Saturday night over the Magic, but still managed to record a game-best 21 points plus seven rebounds. Khris Middleton had 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Malcolm Brogdon put in 16 points to go with four rebounds and two assists. Donte DiVincenzo tallied 15 points and three rebounds off the bench. Brook Lopez had 11 points and two blocks. Pat Connaughton added 10 points and six boards off the bench. Milwaukee led 93-68 through three quarters.
NBA Betting Trends
Toronto
The Raptors are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings in Milwaukee. The over is 6-1 in the last seven Toronto games overall.
Milwaukee
The Bucks are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five home games. The under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Milwaukee.
Prediction:
With each team missing their top star, this game loses a bit of marquee power but it still should be an entertaining affair. Both teams are deep and can get through a quick absence to a starter, even the caliber of Leonard or The Greek Freak. Look for Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe to take advantage of more usage and pave the way for another Bucks victory to keep them undefeated through seven games.
