Knicks vs. Cavaliers Pick
Are the New York Knicks going to stay within the number when they play at the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday night? Tip time is 7PM EST.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Cavaliers are a 10.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 210.
New York enters with a 1-3 record after a 107-86 home victory over the Nets. Cleveland is 3-3 following a 123-101 loss at the Pelicans Saturday night. The Cavaliers won both meetings straight up and ATS last season. The total went over once and pushed the other time.
The Knicks were paced by Kristaps Porzingis with 30 points and nine rebounds in the win over Brooklyn. Courtney Lee scored 13, while Enes Kanter had 12 points and six rebounds. Doug McDermott scored 12 off the bench. New York outscored the Nets 60-36 in the second and third quarters.
Cleveland was led by Kevin Love with 26 points and 11 rebounds in the loss at New Orleans. LeBron James added 18 points and eight assists. Dwyane Wade scored 15 off the bench. The Cavaliers were outscored 34-18 in the fourth quarter.
New York is 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings with Cleveland. The under is 4-0-1 in the last five meetings in Cleveland.
The Cavs have not looked good lately in losing three of their last four. The Knicks provide a chance to get well, but after traveling back from New Orleans there is a good chance Cleveland will be a bit road-weary. Derrick Rose did not play again last night and is questionable for tonight. Without him or Isaiah Thomas in the lineup, LeBron has played a lot of point guard lately. Look for that to continue and the Cavs to win at home, but for New York to stay within the large number.
