Boston is 3-2 and on a three-game win streak after a 96-89 win Thursday night at Milwaukee. Miami is 2-2 after a 117-100 home loss to the Spurs. The Celtics won all four meetings last season straight up and was 2-2 ATS. The total went over three times.

In Boston's win at the Bucks, Al Horford led the way with 27 points and nine rebounds. Kyrie Irving contributed 24 points and seven assists. Jayson Tatum and Aaron Baynes added 12 points apiece. The Celtics outscored the hosts 53-45 in the second half.

Miami was paced by James Johnson in the loss to San Antonio as he tallied 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Goran Dragic scored 20 points, while Tyler Johnson scored 23 off the bench. Dion Waiters added 17 points and five dimes. Miami was outscored 61-49 in the second half.

Bet on Celtics vs. Heat

The Celtics had the Heat's number last season, although Miami did cover the spread twice. With Hassan Whiteside nearing a return but still out Saturday night, look for Boston to take advantage inside and win the rebounding battle plus get easy looks around the rim. If Boston also gets the 3-point ball rolling, it could be a long night for the hosts.
