Curry scores 51 as Warriors torch Wizards

Steph Curry was on fire Wednesday night as he scored 51 points in a 144-122 home win over the Wizards. Curry shot 15-of-24 from the floor including 11-of-16 from 3-point range, while also connecting on all 10 of his free throw attempts. He added four rebounds and three assists. Kevin Durant contributed 30 points, eight boards and seven assists. Klay Thompson added 19 points and two rebounds. Golden State led by eight at halftime and then proceeded to outscore Washington 35-26 in the third.

Knicks throttled by Heat

New York was beaten badly Wednesday night as it fell 110-87 at Miami. Tim Hardaway Jr. was the lone Knicks starter in double figures for points as he had 14 points on 4-of-10 shooting to go with three rebounds and two assists. Damyean Dotson paced New York with 20 points off the bench plus 10 rebounds and two assists. Mario Hezonja added 14 points as a reserve. The Knicks actually led 27-16 after one quarter, but were outscored 31-18 in the second quarter and continued to struggle after halftime.

Golden State seems to always play well at New York instead of toying with an inferior opponent. Curry is on fire right now, Durant is being Durant and all the main pieces are healthy. I think this game has blowout written all over it.
