The Magic battled back from an 11-point halftime deficit, but ultimately could not get the job done. Evan Fournier paced Orlando with 31 points on 12-of-23 shooting including 6-of-10 from 3-point range. He had four rebounds, two assists and a steal. Nikola Vucevic contributed a triple-double with 27 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists and two steals. Aaron Gordon had 20 points, 12 rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals. Terrence Ross added 15 points off the bench.

Celtics hold off Knicks

Boston held on for a 103-101 win Saturday night at New York. Jayson Tatum paced the Celtics with 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting along with 14 rebounds and two steals. Kyrie Irving registered 16 points, five assists and two steals. Marcus Morris contributed 16 points, six boards and two assists off the bench. Aron Baynes had 10 points and five rebounds before leaving the game with an injury. Terry Rozier added 10 points and two assists as a reserve. Boston led 31-18 after one quarter before letting the Knicks back in the game.
