Warriors hold off Thunder

Golden State saw a double-digit lead turn to nothing in the third quarter in its season opener at home against Oklahoma City, but ultimately held on for a 108-100 victory. Steph Curry led the Warriors with 32 points, nine assists and eight rebounds. He shot 11-of-20 from the floor including 5-of-9 on 3-pointers. Kevin Durant put in 27 points to go with eight boards and six assists. Klay Thompson had 14 points and four rebounds. Damian Jones added 12 points, three rebounds, three blocks and two assists.

Jazz win high-scoring game at Kings

Donovan Mitchell scored 11 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter as Utah won 124-117 at Sacramento Wednesday night. He shot 8-of-21 from the floor while added three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Joe Ingles contributed 22 points, six assists and four steals. Rudy Gobert had 19 points, 15 boards and three blocked shots. Jae Crowder, Dante Exum and Alec Burks all had 13 points off the bench.

These two teams are strong defensively, but I think this total is still a couple points too low. Let's not forget all the offensive talent here such as Curry, Durant and Mitchell. This series has tilted toward overs in recent years and I'm going to say the same happens tonight.
