Kawhi Leonard tallied 24 points and 12 rebounds in his regular season debut with the Raptors, shooting 9-of-22 from the floor. The Raptors eased to a 116-104 victory in the opener at home over the Cavs. Kyle Lowry had a team-best 27 points along with eight rebounds as he shot 10-of-12 from the floor including 5-of-6 on 3-point attempts. NBA Betting Trends
Boston
The over is 4-0 in the last four Celtics games on Fridays. Boston is 0-6 ATS in its last six meetings in Toronto.
Toronto
The over is 6-1 in the last seven Raptors home games. The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Toronto.
Prediction:
This will be a much tougher matchup for Toronto than Cleveland provided on Wednesday. With an extra day to prepare and a roster that has the pieces to match up well with Toronto, I like Boston's chances to make an early statement here and cover the small spread if not win outright.
