Miami Heat DFS Spin
Bam Adebayo said he needs to be smarter about avoiding "ticky-tack" fouls against the Lakers while staying active on defense. "We can't just let them get free layups and get in motion," said Bam. "That's when everything starts clicking for them." Foul trouble wasn't a major issue for Adebayo during the regular season, but he averaged 3.3 fouls during the Eastern Conference Finals, and the Lakers will make it a point to go right at Bam to force the refs to make some tough decisions. Hopefully, he will be able to avoid foul trouble, because the matchup between Bam and Anthony Davis will be a pleasure to watch.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
Anthony Davis (ankle), LeBron James (groin), Danny Green (finger) and Alex Caruso (wrist) are all probable for Game 1 of the Finals vs. Miami on Wednesday. We'd expect these guys to be "probable" for the remainder of the series, and it's possible Frank Vogel will add another few guys to the probable report as we progress through these final 4-7 games. Rajon Rondo isn't even being listed on the injury report, so for now, it looks like the back issues are behind him.
Heat vs. Lakers Game 1 Betting Prediction
The Heat are 12-3 against the spread in their last 15 games overall, have covered in seven of their last 10 games as an underdog and are 10-3 against the number in their last 13 games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous contest. The Lakers, meanwhile, are just 7-15-1 at the betting window in their last 23 NBA Championship games, are 2-5 against the number in their last seven games playing on three or more days of rest and have failed to cover in five of the last six times they played on Wednesday.
