Lakers vs. Nuggets Game 3 Prediction
The Lakers have jumped out to a 2-0 series lead versus the Nuggets but failed to cover as a large favorite on Sunday in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. Will L.A. not only post a straight-up victory tonight in Game 3 but also cover?

Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
LeBron James (sore right groin) finished the Lakers' Game 2 win with 26 points (10-of-20 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 11 rebounds, four assists, three 3-pointers and two blocks. LBJ was initially listed as 'probable' for this game, but there was no real fear that he'd sit out. He scored 12 of L.A.'s first 14 points, and the Nuggets' defense has no clear answer for James or Anthony Davis, who had a game-high 31 points with nine rebounds in 39 minutes. LeBron committed six turnovers tonight, part of the reason Denver scored 19 points off turnovers, so he may need to rein in the errors for L.A. to take a 3-0 lead on Tuesday.
Denver Nuggets DFS Spin
Nikola Jokic scored a team-high 30 points in a tough Game 2 loss vs. the Lakers on Sunday, finishing 9-of-20 from the field and 11-of-12 from the line in 39 minutes. The Nuggets' stars showed up tonight, with Jamal Murray adding 25 points, six boards, four assists, two steals, two blocks and two triples. Jokic didn't make a 3-pointer until very late in the fourth quarter, after not even attempting any in Game 1. Denver goes as Jokic goes, so they should be encouraged by his 3-point attempts (1-of-4), assists and ability to get to the line. They'll need all of that and more to avoid a 3-0 deficit on Tuesday.
Lakers vs. Nuggets Game 3 Prediction
The Lakers are just 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games following an ATS loss while the Nuggets have covered in four of their last five games overall. They’re also 4-1 against the number in their last five playoff games as an underdog and are 6-1-1 against the number in their last eight games when their opponent allowed 100 points or more in its previous game.
