Denver Nuggets DFS Spin

Michael Porter Jr. scored 15 points in 34 minutes off the bench Wednesday, adding six rebounds, one assist and one block. MPJ's postseason has been up-and-down, with teams targeting him as a defensive liability and some spotty shooting. He was terrific in Game 3 vs. the Clippers though, with 18/10 and three steals in a defeat, and the minutes tonight are encouraging. Porter Jr. is obviously a staple of the Nuggets' future and he's unlikely to be available after the 50-60 range of season-long fantasy drafts next year. He's that good.

Los Angeles Clippers DFS Spin

Kawhi Leonard was dominant during Wednesday's lopsided Game 4 victory, scoring 30 points with 11 rebounds, nine assists, four steals, two blocks and just one assist in 39 minutes. Leonard made 10-of-22 FGs with a pair of triples and 8-of-8 FTs. He continues to carry L.A. (and fantasy teams) as a high-usage, two-way force. Paul George was quiet on Wednesday with 10 points (4-of-10 FGs), three board and three dimes, which is all the more reason to target Kawhi in fantasy leagues since he's quite clearly the alpha dog in this lineup.

I’ve backed the Nuggets in this series but the writing is on the wall. The Clippers are too talented for the young Nuggets, who are building something, but it’s going to take more experience and perhaps another dominant role player to be competitive with the big boys in the league. Denver should put up a fight defensively tonight but the Nuggets simply don’t have enough firepower to match the Clippers for four straight quarters. Assuming L.A. doesn’t take its foot off the gas with the game in hand, I’m laying the points for the first time in this series in what should be another dominant Clippers victory.
