Kawhi Leonard dropped 41 points on 14-of-21 shooting from the floor, 9-of-10 shooting from the foul line and 4-of-7 shooting from distance, to go with six rebounds, four assists, and two steals in Tuesday's Game 2 loss. There is a reason that many people were arguing that Kawhi should be mentioned in conversations about who the best player in the world is, and on Tuesday night he showed why. Even though the Clippers lost, Kawhi was in attack mode as soon as the ball tipped. The Claw tallied 30 points on 10-of-14 shooting in the first half, which was the most points he’s had in a half in his postseason career. He picked up right where he left off in the second half and almost single-handedly propelled the Clippers to a win. He will need to duplicate this type of performance of Friday if the Clips want to avoid falling in a 3-0 hole.

Dallas Mavericks DFS Notes

Luka Doncic made 16-of-29 shots (5-of-13 3PT) for 39 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in Tuesday's 127-121 win over the Clippers. Doncic left some points on the board as he made just 2-of-7 free throws on the evening and he also had seven turnovers which, even for Luka, is high. He added a steal and a block to provide some slight defensive value on the night as well. Luka has now led the Mavericks to two consecutive road wins over the Clippers as the series will now shift to Dallas with a chance for the Mavs to take a commanding 3-0 lead. Through two games, Luka has averaged 35 points, nine assists, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 1 steal per game.

The Clippers are now 1-4 against the spread in their last five games versus the Mavericks, are 0-4 against the spread in their last four games overall and are 1-6 at the betting window in their last seven games coming off a loss.
