Friday's NBA Daily Fantasy Picks
The NBA Playoffs for Friday feature a pair of Western Conference semifinal games. Here’s our suggested Daily Fantasy plays for the night’s action.
Point Guard – Pelicans’ Rajon Rondo (vs. Golden State, 8PM ET) $7,300
Rondo has been stellar all playoffs and continues to garner a price tag much lower than the other superstars in tonight’s game. Rondo has double-digit assists in six of his last seven games and I expect him to continue to create offense with the Pelicans in a must-win game tonight at home.
Shooting Guard – Jazz’ Donovan Mitchell (vs. Houston, 10:30PM ET) $8,300
Let’s face it, the Jazz are Mitchell’s team. Mitchell does a little bit of everything for Utah and he is the guy looking to put the team on his back when needed. He stepped up again in Houston despite not shooting all that well, racking up 11 assists with 17 points. Returning home, I expect another big game from the rookie tonight.
Small Forward – Jazz’ Joe Ingles (vs. Houston, 10:30PM ET) $5,700
Ingles has been steady for the Jazz, scoring at least 32 fantasy points in three straight games. In Game 2 of this series, he shot the lights out and hit 7 3-pointers. I don’t think he will do that tonight, but he will probably improve on his rebound and assist numbers from the other night to still follow in his current production trend.
Power Forward – Warriors’ Draymond Green (at New Orleans, 8PM ET) $8,200
Despite being under-sized in the frontcourt for this series, Green is still putting up huge numbers. He had 64.75 fantasy points in Game 1 while racking up a triple-double. In game two, he had 57.25 fantasy points while being 1 rebound shy of another triple-double. I like Green to continue to be the most productive in the Golden State lineup.
Center – Rockets’ Clint Capela (at Utah, 10:30PM ET) $6,700
Capela has been a great player for the Rockets in the playoffs when it comes to fantasy production. He had 45.25 points in Game 2 and 37.5 in Game 1. He has four straight games with double-doubles and I think he will continue to shine tonight. Harden is looking for Capela a lot in the paint and he clearly has the athletic edge over Rudy Gobert.
