Fred VanVleet finished Saturday's loss to the Jazz with a line of 30 points (11-of-25 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes. With Kyle Lowry (rest) getting the night off, VanVleet was paired with rookie Malachi Flynn in the Raptors starting lineup. And he came through with his first 30-point game since February 16, when he put up 33 in a win over the Bucks. With this being the first game of a back-to-back, it's possible that VanVleet will be held out of Sunday's matchup with the Lakers. Fantasy managers will want to pick up Flynn, who's rostered in 26% of Yahoo leagues, as early as they can Sunday morning. Flynn played 36 minutes, tallying 10 points (4-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, six assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
LeBron James (right ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. Toronto. LBJ said his ankle felt a bit "tight" during his return on Friday, though you couldn't tell while watching him put up 16 points, eight boards and seven assists in 32 minutes. We should have another update after shootaround on Sunday. It doesn't help matters that it's the first half of a back-to-back set, followed by a game vs. Denver on Monday.

The Raptors have covered the spread in 17 of the previous 22 meetings with the Lakers and are 5-0 against the number in their last five games at STAPLES. They’re also 6-2 against the number in their last eight games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. On the other side, the Lakers are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games and are 0-5-1 against the spread in their last six games overall.
