Here are some of the best players of the most recent NBA season.
Damian Lillard plays for and leads the Portland Trail Blazers. He is considered a star player even though he always seems to be thought of as a second-tier player, which makes him one of the most underrated players on the list, even though he’s an all round great player.
Russell Westbrook, who plays for the Houston Rockets is definitely another incredible player to watch. Besides the propaganda on whether or not he is a good teammate and helpful to his team, he had made off the charts numbers. He is an overall agile and consistent player.
Paul George, formerly with Oklahoma City, now playing for the Los Angeles Clippers. Last year he had finished third in a vote for the most valuable player (MVP). Even though this season wasn’t as special for him as the last one, he still kept his place in the top NBA players in the world.
Joel Embiid, who plays alongside the Philadelphia 76ers is undoubtedly one of if not the best center in the league. He was a candidate for MVP last season after leading the 76ers on an epic playoff run. Overall he is a dominant center on any side of the court and regardless of his health issues is still improving, which should be a scary thought for his opponents.
Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers’ center, holds the throne for the best center in the league. He is one of the league’s most dominant players in all aspects and has a massive drive for success.
Stephen Curry, striker for the golden state warriors, is one of the top scorers in the NBA and he’s a big part of the changing of the guard in the NBA in terms of offense. Curry is likely out for the rest of the season, so any hopes of him going on a crazy MVP run are now dashed.
James Harden, striker for the Houston Rockets, is one of the toughest players to defend against in the NBA. He’s one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA, and it doesn’t seem to matter who is in front of him, Harden can go to the array of tools he has in his repertoire to make life tough on any defender.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, who plays along the Milwaukee Bucks, seems to be getting higher and higher on lists like these every single year. He is a special player for his size. He’s fast, athletic, and has the strength of a bull. The only thing he lacks is a solid mid-range shot.
