Will the Boston Celtics stay hot when their NBA Playoff series with the Chicago Bulls returns home tonight for Game 5 at 8:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Boston is favored at home, as the Celtics are getting odds of -7.5 points against the Bulls. The over/under total for the game is listed at 202 points.

Boston was able to even the series with the Bulls on Sunday thanks to a 104-95 win at Chicago. The road team has now won and covered the spread in all four games of this series. Boston is 55-31 on the season, 30-13 at home and 42-42-2 against the spread. Chicago is 43-43 overall, 18-25 on the road and 44-42 against the spread.

The Bulls continued to struggle without Rajon Rondo in the lineup. His thumb injury is set to keep him out of tonight’s game as well. Jimmy Butler did what he could to make up for his loss, posting 33 points with nine assists. However, nobody else scored more than 13 points. Isaiah Thomas got back to his usual scoring, putting up 33 points with seven assists in the win. Gerald Green added 18 points and seven rebounds while Al Horford had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds.

While the road team has won all four games in this series, Rondo played in the two games at Boston and had a big impact. Butler feels a little like a 1-man team right now without much help while Boston is starting to click on offense once again. The Celtics are the hot team and I think they cruise to a cover tonight.
